Our story
Yasmine Center exists because one educator kept hearing the same sentence from parents: "My child understands Arabic… but won't speak it."

Hiba Alsamman has spent her career teaching Arabic to children — in classrooms, community centers and living rooms. Again and again she met the same heartbreak: bright kids drifting away from their language because lessons felt like punishment, and parents blaming themselves for it.
So she started doing things differently. Shorter lessons. More games than grammar drills. Stars instead of red pens. Teachers hired for the way children's faces changed when they walked in. Word spread, waiting lists grew, and the little center needed to become something bigger.
Yasmine Center is that something bigger: an online school that brings Hiba's classroom — the laughter, the patience, the stars — to families everywhere, in a 25-minute window that fits real life.
To make Arabic a language kids are proud of and excited about — not a chore they survive. We measure success in unprompted Arabic sentences at the dinner table.
A laughing child is a learning child. If a lesson isn't fun, we redesign the lesson — we never blame the kid.
Our teachers are certified and vetted, but they're hired for kindness. Kids learn from people they love.
