Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and {{LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME}} of {{REGISTERED_ADDRESS}}, trading as Yasmine Center. They govern your use of this website and the lessons you buy through it. By creating an account you agree to them on your own behalf and on behalf of the children you enroll.
1. The service
We provide live one-to-one online Arabic lessons for children, 25 minutes each, taught on Google Meet, together with homework, progress tracking, written lesson reports and certificates. We do not record lessons. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.
2. Lesson packs and credits
Lessons are bought as one-time packs of 4, 8 or 12 lessons at the price shown at checkout. Payment is taken once, at the moment of purchase: nothing recurs, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. Each pack adds its lessons to your credit balance, and one credit is used per booked lesson.
3. Booking, rescheduling & cancellation
Lessons may be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 8 hours before start time, returning the credit to your balance. Within 8 hours of start time, the credit is forfeited. If a teacher cancels at any time, the credit is always returned. Repeated student no-shows do not entitle a refund of forfeited credits.
4. Refunds
You may request a refund of unused, unexpired credits from your first pack within {{REFUND_WINDOW_DAYS}} days of that purchase. Credits already used are not refundable. Bonus, referral and goodwill credits have no cash value and are never refundable. Refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe.
5. Credit expiry
Purchased credits are valid for six months from the date of purchase and expire at the end of that period. We email you 30 days and 7 days before any credits expire. Bonus, referral and goodwill credits may carry no expiry date; where they do not expire, this is stated when they are granted.
6. Conduct
Lessons must be a respectful space. Abusive, discriminatory or inappropriate behavior toward teachers or staff may lead to warnings, lesson termination or account closure. An adult must be reachable nearby during lessons for children under 8.
7. Content & intellectual property
All curriculum, lesson materials, characters, artwork and software are the property of {{LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME}} or its licensors and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use while your account is active. Copying or redistributing lesson materials is not permitted.
8. Liability, governing law & changes
We provide the service with care but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability; maintenance and force majeure may affect lessons, in which case credits are preserved. Our liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the preceding 12 months. These terms are governed by {{GOVERNING_LAW}}, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of {{COURT_VENUE}}. We may update these terms with reasonable notice; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
